Custom Extrusion Process

Need help finding the right fit? We can assist with designing, prototyping and manufacturing custom extrusions for your glazing or weatherproofing project. Contact us at DesignEngineering@tremcoinc.com with any specific questions.

1. Consultation

Here, we discuss your project-specific needs, review existing detail drawings and recommend product material, durometer, installation and sequencing.

2. Design

Starting with our library of over 20,000 extruded rubber profiles, our design engineers will design a custom solution for your application.

3. Prototype

To reduce cost and turnaround time, we'll create a 3D printed prototype of your gasket, sponge or wedge to determine the perfect size and fit.

4. Manufacture

Once you’re satisfied with the design, we’ll mass produce your custom extrusion in the desired material and durometer.
