Vulkem® ICW Underlayment is a self-adhering underlayment designed for use as a secondary barrier to moisture under metal, asphalt shingles, slate and tiles in areas prone to ice dams. The membrane consists of a versatile bitumen compound with enhanced adhesion, allowing it to adhere to many surfaces such as plywood, OSB, concrete, wood particle, and gypsum cover boards. The exposed surface of the Vulkem ICW Underlayment is composed of coated silica granules providing a durable, anti-slip, walkable surface.
