New TREMstop® IA+ Equals More Intumescent, Less Material and Less Time - October 30, 2008

Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing (CS&W) is introducing a new and improved formula for TREMstop® IA Intumescent Acrylic Firestop Sealant. TREMstop IA+ provides more coverage and requires less material for fire-rated applications. TREMstop IA+ is the only UL classified intumescent acrylic firestop sealant on the market that can be installed around a four-inch plastic pipe without requiring a collar, sleeve or backer rod. Just pump out the sealant and go. Because of its unique formula, applications require 20 percent (on average) less material than its competition, and when installed within concrete wall panels, only one-sided applications are necessary for it to meet specifications.
