Performance requirements for today's buildings are increasing at a breakneck
pace. New technology in building materials is responding to the challenge,
providing you with products and systems that set new standards for performance,
speed and sustainability as well as flexibility in design.
To help keep you abreast of some of these new developments and help provide
the tools you need as you design projects incorporating this new technology, we
will be building this Architect's Resource to continually highlight emerging
building envelope solutions. It is our intent to continually add new elements,
including white papers, specifications, detail drawings, project profiles
incorporating these new solutions and more.
As we enter 2008, we will be focusing on air & moisture management with the
industry's first PROVEN solution to the challenge of preventing air and moisture
infiltration at tie-ins or transitions from air barriers to window or curtain
